A Wing and a Prayer highlights the beauty and vulnerability of our birds to climate change and habitat loss. A staggering 3,000,000,000 birds have been lost in North America since 1970 and the Puffin and Evening Grosbeak are two of Washington state’s most endangered species.
Abbie Birmingham is a printmaker, book artist and mixed media artist whose work is deeply place based and often explores the confluence of the built environment and the natural world in and around her hometown of Seattle and in Washington state.
