Into the West is a color experiment, a love letter to road trips Scott has taken in the past, and a show of desire to leave his cramped little apartment and drive into the mountains.
Scott Coffey’s base instinct as a human is to make things look pretty, and the second is to learn, and he has harnessed those into art that is a collage of historical art references, vivid color, self-expression, and dialogue about the queer experience.
